All my life the Burleson family has been an extension of my family. When I was little, Ms. Betty was the assistant teacher in my first grade class. I'll never forget her kindness and her knack for teaching us to read. She instilled in me a lifelong love of books. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the funeral services today, but just know that I am thinking and praying for you all. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am thankful that Betty is no longer suffering and that we will see her again. My heart breaks for each of you that have to go on without her. I pray the Lord blesses you with grace and strength to get through the days to come. She will be greatly missed.
