Renee, Toney and Marsha announce the death of their little brother, Randy Davie Dellinger, age 52, of Boone, formerly of Spear, went to rest in peace with the Lord on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at his home. A native of Mitchell County, he was a son of the late TJ and Carolyn Mace Dellinger. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Amanda Hollifield and grandparents, Dave and Mabel Dellinger. Randy attended church at The High County Chapel of the Salvation Army. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, four wheelers, hunting ginseng, fishing and playing video games.
Surviving is his son, Devon Dellinger of Elk Park; sisters: Marsha Hoilman and husband, Wayne, of Spear and Renee Hollifield and husband, Wayne, of Marion; brother, Toney Dellinger and wife, Darla, of Jensen Beach, FL; nieces and nephews: Jessica Harmon and husband, Ben, Stephen McDaniels and wife, Leslie, Dakota and Addison Hoilman and Miracle Dellinger; great-nieces and nephews: Zade, Adyn, Heather, Gavin and Jada and special friend, Chuck Howard of Landrum, SC.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th at Altapass Church of God. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the church with Pastor Cameron Smith and Rev. Tim Rexroth officiating. Private burial will be held in the Spear Top Cemetery.
